New Program: M.S. in Computer Science - Artificial Intelligence Track
Faculty are encouraged to share information about the new Master of Science in Computer Science - Artificial Intelligence Track, launching Fall 2026 through the University of Houston College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics.
Offered in person at the UH Katy Campus, this industry-aligned graduate program prepares students to design, develop and deploy responsible, scalable AI systems that address real-world challenges across sectors such as technology, health care, energy, and finance.
The 30-credit, non-thesis program emphasizes hands-on learning and practical experience in areas such as machine learning, deep learning, data engineering, cloud-based architectures, and AI systems deployment. Students will also explore responsible and trustworthy AI practices as part of the curriculum.
Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, statistics, or a related field, with prerequisite coursework in calculus, linear algebra and computer science.
Faculty are encouraged to inform qualified students and recent graduates who may be interested in pursuing advanced training in artificial intelligence.
